Little Beach House Montessori

The Seagrapes Program at Little Beach House Montessori

For Children 18 Months - 2.5 years old

At Little Beach House Montessori, our Corals Program is designed to nurture curiosity, independence, and a deep connection to the world around them. In our trilingual (English, Spanish & French) Montessori classrooms, toddlers explore at their own pace, developing confidence, communication skills, and a love for learning—both indoors and outdoors.

Our Global-inspired values emphasize respect, collaboration, and mindfulness, creating a space where toddlers are free to explore, discover, and connect with nature as part of their daily experience.

A Prepared Environment for Growth & Discovery

  • A Peaceful, Loving, and Safe Atmosphere – A nurturing environment where toddlers feel secure and valued.
  • Language-Rich Bilingual Classrooms – Full immersion in English, Spanish, and French, fostering early multilingual development.
  • Connection to Nature – Our beachside setting and organic garden provide endless opportunities for hands-on discovery.
  • Independence & Confidence – Self-directed learning helps toddlers build autonomy and problem-solving skills.
  • Respect & Collaboration – Children learn in an environment of mutual respect, fostering empathy and social development.

Hands-On Learning for Exploration & Mastery

In our Montessori classrooms, children learn through movement, touch, and real-life experiences rather than passive instruction. They return to tasks over weeks or months, refining skills until they can confidently teach younger peers—confirming mastery of a concept.

Daily activities include:
  • Daily Storytime – Laying the foundation for future reading skills.
  • Gardening & Nature Exploration – Teaching responsibility, patience, and environmental awareness.
  • Practical Life Skills (Pouring, Dressing, Cleaning, & Self-Care) – Encouraging self-sufficiency.
  • Sensory & Fine Motor Work – Strengthening hand-eye coordination and dexterity.

Freedom with Purpose: How We Foster Independence

  • Spontaneous Activity: Toddlers are naturally curious! We encourage movement, exploration, and hands-on learning in a safe, structured way.
  • Self-Directed Learning: Children choose activities based on their interests, developing focus and persistence.
  • Freedom Within Limits: While children have autonomy, they learn to respect the community’s ground rules.
  • Intrinsic Motivation: No rewards or punishments—just the pure joy of learning, building internal motivation and self-discipline.

A Montessori Foundation for a Lifetime of Learning

At Little Beach House Montessori, we believe that toddlers are capable, independent, and eager to learn from the world around them. By fostering connection, curiosity, and confidence, we prepare them for a future filled with limitless possibilities.
